These let the metal expand and contract as it heats up without cracking the waterproof shell. Plus, we use standard plug-and-play connectors. No soldering, no fancy tools, no guesswork. You just plug it in and it works.
The Honest Trade-off
Now, look—nothing is perfect. A modular design has more joints than a unit that’s been welded shut. That means you’ve got a few more gaskets to keep an eye on during your yearly check-up. If a seal fails, moisture gets in. But honestly? Checking a gasket once a year is a tiny price to pay compared to buying a brand-new heater every five years.
