Heat that actually works
We build our IR tubes to hit very specific wattage targets. In the food world, uneven heat is a nightmare—it creates “hot spots” that burn your product. To stop that, we carefully control how the filament is wound. This keeps the heat spread evenly across the whole tube. If you need more throughput, we can go with high-wattage setups to speed up your line. Just a heads-up, though: pushing more power puts more stress on the quartz. If your ventilation isn’t dialed in, those tubes won’t last nearly as long.
The stuff we use (and why it matters)
We stick with high-purity quartz glass. It can handle the shock of heating up and cooling down quickly, and you don’t have to worry about anything leaching into your food. For some jobs, we add special coatings to change how the heat hits. Instead of just searing the surface, the heat actually sinks deeper into the food. Plus, we use standard connectors. That means these are simple drop-in replacements. You won’t have to spend your weekend rewiring the entire rack.
Saving money without cutting corners
Here’s the thing: cutting costs doesn’t mean buying cheap materials. That’s a trap. Cheap tubes burn out in a few weeks and end up costing you more in the long run. Instead, we save money by tightening up the manufacturing tolerances. We make the tubes to the exact spec you need—no more, no less. We don’t over-engineer the glass thickness if the pressure and temperature don’t call for it.
