We’ve all been there. You step out of a steaming hot shower, feeling great, and the second you hit the air in the dressing area, it’s like walking into a freezer. It’s a total shock to the system. That’s exactly why we built these mirror infrared heaters. Most heaters try to warm up the air in the room. But air is slow. Instead, we use short-wave infrared radiation. Think of it like the sun hitting your skin on a clear winter day. It doesn’t wait for the breeze to warm up; it just heats you and your clothes directly. It’s fast. Really fast. Inside the unit, there’s a high-wattage quartz halogen element. The moment you flip the switch, that filament hits its peak temperature in a fraction of a second. Because the energy travels in a straight line, it doesn’t waste time drifting around the room. It hits you, and you feel the warmth instantly. Of course, bathrooms are basically torture chambers for electronics. Steam and humidity get into everything. To fight that, we use high-grade quartz glass to keep the filament from wearing out. And that mirror isn’t just there so you can shave. It’s shaped to act as a reflector, pushing all that heat forward toward you instead of letting it soak into the wall. Since we need a lot of “oomph” to get that instant heat, these usually run on a 220V-240V circuit. We also use sealed connectors, because the last thing you want is steam creeping into the wiring and popping a breaker. One heads-up, though: this much heat in a small space is intense. If you mount these too close to cheap plastics or flimsy adhesives, things will start to warp. You’ve got to make sure your mirror frame and wall mounts can handle the heat. Just leave a bit of breathing room around the unit, and you’re good to go.
